Juanita D. Houston

Born and raised in Tennessee, married to a retired Navy Sr. Chief, Juanita D. Houston has been writing off and on since Middle school. She produced the newsletter Dead to Writes for her writer's group, Malice in Memphis and is a member of Memphis Writers. When she's not writing, she plans trips for research. With single stand-alone stories in the first two Malice Anthologies - Bluff City Mysteries and Ghost Stories, she started her Dean and Gwen Colton Misadventure series beginning in the anthology Elmwood: Stories to die for and the brand new Mayhem in Memphis. While her first novel Full Throttle is with the editor, (to be released March 2020) she revamped an earlier story and released it just before the end of the year, check out An Unwanted Visitor if you want a quick fun read. She is currently working on a new trilogy and stories for other anthologies.
